2012 Budget Hearing Schedules Released

This week, both the state House of Representatives and Senate released their schedules for the upcoming budget hearings. During these hearings, members of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees listen to testimony from various state agencies, giving them an opportunity to ask questions of agency officials and to understand each agency’s funding requirements.

These hearings take place in Harrisburg and are open to the public. The House Appropriations Committee meets in the Main Capitol Building, Room 140; the state Senate Appropriations Committee meets in the North Office Building of the Capitol complex in Hearing Room 1.
